Photos, notes and sketches
Explain site conditions and details that a drawing alone may not communicate. Project Documents brings together project notes, site photos and project sketches.
Prepare the opening before finishing.
- Complete verification. Check the reconstructed dimensions against the real opening.
- Create the required documents. Use Create DXF and/or Create PDF Report on Opening Complete. The required combination is set in Settings.
- Add the opening photo. A photo is required before finishing. Add opening notes or a sketch where useful.
- Finish the opening. If you do not have active Pro access, choose Subscribe or Restore Purchases when prompted.
- Review and share. Open Project Documents from the project and check the intended files before sending them.

Document questions.
Is a document ZIP the same as a complete project export?
No. Project Documents packages files for handover. Export Complete Project in Settings is a separate workflow for transferring the project. See project transfer help.
Why is a file missing?
Check the project and opening, and that the document was created. On Opening Complete, check the required documents and photo, then finish the opening. A file moved or deleted outside the app may no longer be available.
Can the office open a DXF on a phone?
Opening a DXF requires an app that supports that file type. If no suitable viewer is available, share the file with the office and open it in its CAD workflow. The PDF provides a more readily viewable report.
